I am trying to locate the parents of my Great great grandparents John Lefebvre who was born about 1835 in Montreal Canada, and Catherine Unknown born about 1842. They were married about 1870. Three children at least were born to them in Canada. Louis, Clara, and Albert. In 1877 they left Canada for the Dakota territories in the United States. We believe two more children perhaps more were born to them, Regina and my great grandfather Amidor. Several other spellings for Amidor have also been found with no data those being Homidor, Homidas, Amidas, and Medos. If you are related or have information on any of these individuals, I would love to hear from you. Albert changed the spelling of the family name after his mother passed from Lefebvre to Lefave then La Fave. I have information to share on the descendants of Albert who married Cynthia Babcock and Amidor who married Augustine Regina Josephine Bertrand. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
