I am searching for information on passenger lists for the ship Hydaspes which sailed from Gravesend to Port chalmers in 1872. In particular I am looking for an Elizabeth Maciver who left the Isle of Lewis to go to either Australia or New Zealand. i am also searching for Alexander Macmillan who jumped ship in New Zealand in the early 1900's. He was born in the Isle of Lewis but never returned there and is buried in New Zealand but I do not know which area. He was a shepherd in later years. thanks Joan | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
