Looking for information and a photo of Columbus F. Cherry. Story says Columbus arrived in California with Fremont. Columbus was born in Harden Co., TN. around 1822 and died around Squaw Valley, CA. around 1893. He married a lady named Allen and they had several children. Around 1855 he had a young daughter born to him and his Miwok wife. His wife died soon after the birth of their daughter Mary (Mollie) Columbus was my great grandfather. Thanks for any help.
