I am trying to trace what happened to the father of a friend. His name was George Stock, born in the West Country of England e.g. Devon/Cornwall in 1874. He met his wife and married in New Zealand probably in Wellington, around 1928 - 1930. His daughter remembers her mother mentioning the place Wangary (of course that is in Australia) so possibly it was Wanganui, in N.Z. The daughter (Gina) was born in 1933 and in 1936 her father departed and was never heard of or from again. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
