i am looking for information on Johnie F. Hafer, born in KY in 1928. He was raised by his uncle and aunt until 1938 in Carroll County KY, they were Walter and Nora J. Williamson. Nora remarried in 1938 to an Alfred Ball, and possibly moved to Indiana with Johnie. Johnie married Mary Louise Darbro in 1946 and she died in childbirth in August of 1947. Johnie then gave their daughter, Nancy Jean Hafer, to a lady that he worked with at Dennison's Parking Garage in Indianapolis, Indiana. She and her husband adopted Nancy Jean and we are looking for her birth Parents. Nancy Jean is my mother, and we have found Mary Darbro Hafer's family, but no one knows the whereabouts of Johnie Hafer.
