Jacob and Amy Ann Perkins (Lyles?)Bigley were the parents of my grandma and several siblings, Bert, Marie, David, Rosa, Robert, Blanche, Virginia, Mary just to name a few. Jacob was married twice, first to Catherine and 7 years after she died to Amy. I found a query from a distant cousin, Dennis Sanford, son of Virginia, but e-mail address no longer exists. They lived in Decatur County, Iowa. Bert and Marie had a farm in Grand River for a few years until he died in 1961. Marie was born in Davis City, but birth name was Alice. My grandma's and twin sister's birth names were Loretta and Woneta. Don't know which was which. Dorothy Bigley Davneport Hoit was my grandma and Donna the twin sister. Grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa. Not far from Virginia and went to the same schools together. These three sisters were adopted at a very young age. Jacob Bigley died in 1924 in Leon. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
