My first ancestor in the U.S. was Alexander McMechin who married Elizabeth Corsen in 1745. They had Benjamin Perrine-1763, his son Peter Carr-1788, Andrew Jackson-1819, James Absalom-1858, Frank Harvey-1884, Harold Chancellor-1909 (my father) and myself - Sandra. Little is known of Alexander and I have no info in the jump back to Scotland. Has anyone done any research on this line, especially in Scotland? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
