Looking for an ancester who's death is a mystery to the family. His name was Lewis Swink, born in 1848 or 1849 supposedly died in 1886. Married Mary Hohensheldt in Monroe County she was born 1848 and died 1917 in Greely Colorado. His parents were Charles Swink born 6/3/1825 died 11/8/1901 and Sarah born 11/11/1830 died 1/17/1906. He was not mentioned in his father will and I assume Lewis had died previously. His children Ervin, Charles, Milton, Frank and Allen traveled to Colorado around 1890. They eventually brought the mother west but no one ever mentioned their father. Either he did something very wrong or something bad happened and the family refused to speak of it. My grandmother would love to know what happend to this gentleman and why no one spoke of him. i told her I would do my best to find out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
