I am looking for proof of the parents of James Meddock, born about 1806 in Pennsylvania. He died May 19, 1872 in Minnesota. He was married to Emily who was born in New Hampshire. James and Emily Meddock were my Great, Great Grandparents. Descendants of James & Emily Meddock Generation No. 1 1. JAMES MEDDOCK was born Abt. 1806 in PA, and died May 19, 1872 in MN. He married EMILY (AMY) MEDDOCK). She was born Abt. 1820 in NH, Children of JAMES & EMILY MEDDOCK are: i. HARRISON2 MEDDOCK, b. Abt. 1836, PA; m. ELIABETH ?; b. Abt. 1840; ii. November 08, 1842, Bradford, McKean Co, PA; d. Abt. July 21, 1912, Aeneas Valley, Okanogan Co, WA; m. FRANCES REYNOLDS, October 24, 1867, Faribault, Rice Co, MN; b. November 23, 1836, NJ; d. Abt. April 1925, Aeneas Valley, Okanogan Co, WA. v. CLAUDIUS MEDDOCK, b. 1845, PA; vi. OLIVER MEDDOCK, b. 1848, VA; vii. AMANDA MEDDOCK, b. 1849, VA; viii. ALONZO MEDDOCK, b. 1853, VA; My Great Grandfather; Charles Henry Meddock born November 08, 1842 in Bradford, McKean Co, PA. He moved to Wells, Rice Co, MN before the 1880 census. Before 1900, the Meddock family had moved to Aeneas, Okanogan Co, WA where Charles and Frances took a homestead. Charles Died July 21, 1912. Charles Henry Meddock married Frances Reynolds (born November 23, 1836 at Burton Falls, NY) Frances was the widow of 1 James Albert Seely, and 2 Addison Henry Ferris. I have been tracing and recording all Meddock lines in the United States. Most lines go back to PA.
