SAGER : SEGADA | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
I am searching for any answers to the origin or true spelling of our family name Segada. Have been told that it is Slovakian in origin, but it is believed that the original spelling of the family name was different. My Grandfather was Andrew John Segada Sr., his brother who lived close to him was John Segada, middle name unknown. They were both coal miners in Lilly Pa. My Grandfather married Mary Bernard. Her family was from Hastings Pa. I believe he had a sister who spelled her last name Sager and it was not her married name. Her first name was Helen and she lived in Pittsburgh Pa. He also had a brother Joeseph Segada who lived in Pittsburgh. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
