I am searching for more information on my great grandfather and his parents. Leo Elsworth Crawford born Dec 5, 1881 in Harrisburg, PA. He married Myrl Frank Nov 1904 and had the following children, Amy (1905), Florence (1906), Margaret (1916), Elwood, (1920), and Cleo (1925). He lived in Harrisburg from the birth until 1908 when he moved to CA. He was a shoemaker. Leo was a WW1 veteran, 166th Infantry and is buried in Golden Gate Cemetery, San Mateo Co, CA. His parents were Benneville W. and Margaret (Elizabeth) Crawford. Benneville was born Feb 29, 1848 in PA, his father born PA, mother born in Scotland. Benneville was listed as Peter Crawford on 1880 census living in Harrisburg at 1917 N 7th, working as shoemaker. He died in April 1915 in Harrsibrug, PA. Margaret Elizabeth Painter was born May 21, 1852 in Howard or Fulton Co., Indiana. She died after 1939, in PA. The 1880 census listed Benneville and Margaret children: Amey, Nora E., Marion, Oscar Bertand, Venell. A Marion Crawford was found living in Harrisburg in 1900, working as shoemaker. Marion was married between Jun 1899 and Jun 1900. He is listed as a boarder living on Mulberry St in 1900 Harrisburg Census. Marion remarried in 1907 to Catherine Bauder. Amey was married to Harvey Mumma and after his death in 1930 married Goerge Flickinger.
