I am looking for the parents of John Winters who married Nancy Thompson in 1824. They had two sons John and Robert. John is my G Grand Father, he married Rebecca Green about 1850. I found a portion of an estate sale inventory and account held July 18 1839 in Halifax co. North Carolina. Eldridge and Lucinda Thompson were noticeable buyers. I belive that this John is the Father of John and Robert Winters Is there any one who knows anything about any of these people. I would be grateful of any and all help that anyone could give me. thanks
