This is about a new publication which will interest many researchers looking for roots in Meigs County, Ohio and neighboring counties. After more than thirty years, I am no longer doing Sayre genealogy. My huge genealogy was published in July 2003 by iUniverse, Inc. I tied everything into the first SAYRE FAMILY published in 1901 by T. M. Banta, New York. For this reason, I titled it SAYRE FAMILY...another 100 years. Many descendants living in Columbus and Franklin County, Ohio, are descendants. Descendants also live in northwestern Pennsylvania and many counties in West Virginia. The bulk of the genealogy are descended from children of (Banta #199) David and Hannah (Frazier) Sayre. The genealogy was so large it had to be divided into five volumes.
