Lived Albemarle Co Va and married Nancy Ann Garland,daughter of James and Mary Rice Garland-abt 1771-had 4 children before she died: Garland,b 1772,Barbee,b 1774 fought in war of 1812 and was always known after this as Captain Barbee.,Elizabeth(known as Betsy) b 1777,and Nancy b 1778 all Albemarle Co Va.He m 2nd to Susannah Wallace daughter of Andrew Wallace. She died 1798 Madison Co Ky. had 3 children: Sallie b 1782 Albemarle Co Va.Thomas Collins III b 1789 Madison Co Ky and Peggy b 1792
