I am looking for information on the Porter's, of 'Porter's Neck, NC'. My gg-grandfather was William J. Porter and they were from that area. He was married to Elizabeth Evans. I know of 2 children from this union, Bettie (my ggm) and Duncan Porter. I do believe there were others but I have no record of them. Bettie married James Hobbs of Onslow County ( a widower with children) they had 3 more children and then he died. She remarried Zaddock King,(another widower) also of Onslow County. He died and is burried on the family farm near Verona, NC. Please help with ANYTHING you can tell me. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
