Looking for anyone that is a descendant of or has information on a JOHN T BROTHERTON family living in WARREN CO MO in 1840 - we believe this is the same JOHN T that was living in BLOUNT CO TENN in 1830 & migrated to MO. While in BLOUNT CO he lived next door to a THOMAS BROTHERTON who is actually my direct descendant....Thomas showing up again in 1850 on the CRAWFORD CO MO census and then in 1851 he shows up on land papers, purchasing land with Samuel Williams and a Joseph Funk. WOuld love to write to those with information on this line....we dont know what happened to these men but are hoping you do & that you may know much of their history before coming to MO.
