Query Text:

I'm doing some research for a friend, Bobby Bailey that is a Pearl Harbor Survivor. and he is getting up in years and he would like to know who his family is and I'm hoping you or someone you know can help me locate any of his family history from Mississippi and Texas and Kentucky. I'd like to get what I can for him before anything happens to him. The only information I have is off (his) Mr.Bobby Bailey's birth certi. and what he's told me and the information from his fathers (Edward William Bailey) funeral home papers.. The information is :Father:John Bailey was born in Kentucky. This is all we have on him. His Son:-Edward W.Bailey -b.Dec.6 -1882 in Hearn, Texas -d.-Nov.25-1944 in Hinds County, Jackson Mississippi. He worked for the county in Mississippi about the 1930's and worked as a foreman of post engineer's .And as an oil worker in Texas. Edward W.Bailey's wife was Anna May (Mae) Smith, born 1891, in Rankin County, Mississippi and she died in 1937 -in Hinds,Jackson Mississippi. They are both buried at CedarLawn Cemetery in Jackson Mississippi. They had twin boys ,Bobby and Billy and Billy was born first and they were born Aug. 12-1924 in Bossier City ,Louisiana and they were born at home at # 20 Watson St Bossier City Louisiana .They both are still living and Bobby is the one I'm doing research for here in Kentucky. oldest child was- James Edward Bailey and was chief of police in Calif.and was retired from the Marines in the 1960's He lived in North Carolina (town was ? Burgaw ) and thats where he died and his wife and him had two children Ruby and sons name we don't know. The youngest son was Charles Edwin Bailey and he was born we think in Texas and was in the Marines and died in North Carolina (Owensboro we think the county was.) He had no children and wasn't married. The twin Billy is living in Florida and was married 6-7 times and has children and has son Billy in Alabama born about 1945 or 1946 and a daughter in Calif that works as a guard at the prison there and her husband does too at the Folsom Prison, think thats the right spelling not sure. This is all the information we have that he can remember and he would like to know some of his family if there is any out there. He's getting old and never knew anyone really in the family. I sure do hope you can help me out in getting something for him on his family. I've been all over the Internet and can't come up with a thing on his family. I've never been stumped like this before on a family. Please pass this on to others if it will help get any information for us. Please write me at CHEROKEEJR13@juno.com or J.Rader at P.O. Box 1072 Radcilff, Kentucky 40159 We thank you so much for your time and trouble on this . Thanks,Mrs.Rader
