It is rumored that my family has some Native American blood (or African American) in it, but this has never been proven. I am looking for evidence to either prove or disprove this theory. My best lead has to do with someone from the Hiers side of my family leaving SC and traveling out west and inter-marrying the Cheyenne or Nothern Cheyenne. I have no time frame as to when this may have occurred, but I am fairly sure it was prior to the 20th century. By the way, my last name is Thomas. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
