I am a civil war reenactor and the person I portray is 3rd Sgt. Peter Hackett with the 1st Louisiana Special Battalion Co. B. "Wheats Tigers" This is the information that I have: 3rd Sergeant Peter J. Hackett, April 18-23, 1861. Enlisted on April 25, 1861 as Private. Present to December 1861. Killed ,accidentally, on March 16, 1862. I try to be as authentic as possible when portraying my first person, however I do not have much information on him. I want to know if anyone has any information on this person so that I can better know what he was like, where he was from , if he was married and how old he was all the basic stuff. the attached picture is what he may have looked like. I thank you for any help that you could give. Your Obedient Servent, Robert T. Even Sgt Peter Hackett | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
