I am searching for info on Alexander Archer, b. 11 Dec 1804, d. 1845. He was born in Red River County, Texas and died in Arkansas as far as we know. He was the son of Thomas and Ann Archer. He was married to Rebecca Monk 2 Feb 1826 in Loundes County, Alabama. One of his sons was William John Archer, b. 1838, d. 1918, married Rachel Young and later Nancy J. Sherrod. He is buried in Old Union Cemetery, Limestone Co., Tx. Any info on Alexander will be appreciated.
