Am trying to connect the Lorena Joy who married Andrew Slane around 1845 in Ohio. The picture shown on webpage of her with Laura. I have quite abit of information on the Joys of Ohio, Missouri,and Colo. But in all my information there isn't a Lorena or Laura Joy listed to any families that I have. Yet, my ggrandfather James Irvin Joy named one of his daughters Lorena. So I'm a descendent of both the Joys and the Slanes. I find it very interesting that both families lived in the same counties in Ohio, Missouri, and Colorado. As soon as I learn how to produce pictures from an album will post on website to see how many can be idenified.
