I'm researching Mary Ann Peavy, born c. 1842 in Butler Co., Ala., daughter of Isaac Peavy (born c. 1797 in Georgia) who moved to Jackson Parish between 1850 & 1860. In January of 1861 Mary Peavy married James Lindsey Sims in Jackson Parish. By 1868 they moved to Texas, first to Etoile in Nacogdoches Co. & then to Angelina Co.
