I am looking for information on (Carl) Joseph Schlermann and Anna (Maria Anna) Fehrmann (Varmann). There are variations of the names due to the English translation of the German names. This couple came to America together in 1866. They were married here, and I believe it was in Illinois. Their daughter, Frances, was born in 1869 in Illinois and they are listed in the 1870 census for Montgomery County, Illinois. I also believe that they had another child before Frances who died before the 1870 census. If anyone has any knowledge of this couple, or a marriage record, it would be greatly appreciated.
