I am searching for information on WILLIAM HENRY ARMSTRONG (my great-great grandfather) who moved from Niagara County New York in about 1858. He and his family moved to the area of Toledo, Ohio. He was born in 1806/1807 in Canada/New Brunswick/Nova Scotia. The information I have found indicates that he maybe the son of a James Armstrong and was born in Nova Scotia. The WILLIAM located in Nova Scotia "fell out of sight" in about 1825. My ancestor appeared in Niagara County New York in about 1830. My ancestor married Esther Quade and both are buried in Ohio. I think the two WILLIAMS are the same person because of naming patterns with both families...I have yet to find any ducumenation to support my thinking.
