Trying to trace ancestors of Bridget Gough my 4x great Grandmother born circa 1810 in Ireland. She married William Flinn presumably in Ireland where their daughter Elizabeth was born around 1834. The family moved to England at the end of the 1830's to find work. Their children Catherine and Patrick were born in Wolverhampton 1841 and 1842. They then moved to Manchester. Other children were Margaret born 1846, Bridget, Maria and William. Catherine married Jonathan Smith in 1864,Patrick married Ann and moved by 1881 to Bradford. Catherine's eldest son James Smith married Mary AnnColeman also of Irish parents in 1881 and my Grandfather William was born in 1895. This side of the family moved to north Wales where my late father William Smith was born 1921 and I still live.
