My grandmother, Daisy Vieva Jenkins is believed to have been born in Manistee county, MI Dec, 1885. Her father was William Jenkins and her mother was Marian Ardell nee Hill. Used May Carl, May Perkins, Marian tucker as she married several times. On 1900 census in Elyria, Ohio she gave her child's name as Daisy Carl, age 14 yrs. Mother was Perkins then. We have tried to get birth records from state of MI but they had no record under Carl which was the only nee name we had at that time. Her death certificate said her nee name was JENKINS. Was an oly child. Need help to find marriage for the parents or birth of Daisy.
