I am searching for information on Alfred and Anna DeWeese Dunn Beck. Together, they had 1 son, my husband's father, Fred Alfred. Alfred had at least 3 children by a previous marriage. They were Jenny, Joseph and Rosa. I am not certain who their mother was. She may have been Eliza Hilderbrand. Anna had 10 children by a previous marriage to Charles Freud or Friend Dunn. They were Sylvia Jane,Lizzie, Harvey, Orvil, Charles, Albert, Selena, WIlliam and Dona Dunn. The Dunn children were raised partly in a children's home and foster care. Alfred's son Joseph later married Anna's daughter Dona and they are listed in the 1910 Marion City, OH census. Alber Dunn and wife Katie and daughters Dorothy and Deloras are also listed in that census. All of these individuals lived in the Meigs, Marion, Crawford, Union, Delaware Co. area in Ohio. Any information would be appreciated. Family story handed down is that Alfred was killed when a horse jumped up on him. He was killed when his youngest son Fred was a young boy. Anna was a widow by the 1900 census. She is listed with sons Fred, age 8, Charles, age 24 and Bertie(Albert) age 18.
