Looking for George Jones, 1st found in Elbert Co., GA; Then in Madison Co., Ala. where my gr-gr-grandfather was born in 1814. They moved to Clinton co.,Ohio,then to Warren Co., Ohio. I found his wife, Narcissa (Harris) in land sales & alone as early as 1830 there. One article said George absconded in 1827. But there were children born after that. They moved to Parke Co., IN. and I found her in the 1850 census with a son, John, and family. She died in 1853. Buried in a Quaker Cem in Bloomfield, IN. I did find a George Jones living with Simon Hadley in 1850 Parke Co. IN. Could this be him? Does anyone know. John and bro. Harlan C. Jones' moved to Jackson Co., KS. about 1855. Does anyone have any help with this or any ideas? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
