Searching for information about Luther Wells Badger 1822-1889 and his wife, Jennie (Kingsbury) Badger 1834-1911 who are buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County, NY. Their infant daughter, Martha, born July 14, 1861 was buried there July 15, 1861. Their oldest son, George Kennedy Badger, was born October 24, 1858, perhaps in Brooklyn. They had two more sons, William Cutting Badger, born December 20, 1863 and Howard Kingsbury Badger, born March 27, 1870. Also buried in the Greenwood cemetery are Jennie (Kingsbury) Badger's aunt and uncle, William G. and Martha (Martin) Cutting, who had adopted Jennie when she was 14. I'm thinking that Luther and Jennie may have met in Brooklyn. Luther and Jennie married September 30, 1857. Did they marry in Brooklyn? Is there any record of them having lived and/or worked in Brooklyn? I'd be so grateful to receive information. Thanks Harriet Rockwell hrockwell@earthlink.net | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
