According to family records, my ggrandparents, Henry Austin and Frances Ewing Carpenter lived in Lyndon, Furnas County, NE from 1874 until 1876. They had moved from DeKalb County, MO and returned to Missouri in 1876. Their first child, Susie Maud Carpenter (my grandmother) was born in Nebraska. I would appreciate any information about the town of Lyndon as I can't find it on modern maps and also where I might find land or birth records for Furnas County.
