Am looking for all Zaffiro family in the USA. I am adopted, but my birth mother was a Zaffiro. Not a very common name--so we must all be connected in some way! Am unsure of who my father was, but there are two possibilities--George Clay or Vernon Hunter. Both were in the USA military, I believe, and one is my father. I was born in 1951, so he would have had to be stationed or in Germany in January or February of 1951, as I was supposedly conceived there, and my birth mother returned with her mother and stepfather to the US, where I was born in Queens, NY.
