Query Text: |
I am looking for descendents of Emily Wayman/Waymon Hanna/Hannah Killion of Plainville, Indianna. Her son, Lewis Waymon Hannah was my gtgt grandfather. His only child was my gt grandmother, who I vaguely remember since I was about six when she died. LW Hannah traveled up and down the Mississippi before the Civil War. He traveled around in Texas. I do not know why, but would like to. He married Elizabeth Ann Williams of Memphis in 1859. He took her home to Indianna in about 1864, bringing her back to Memphis after the war. He got sick on his return home and never saw her or their daughter again. I think he served in the Union Army during the war and was stationed on the Mississippi, but can find no reference to him on any lists. I know he had a sister who married a Ground/Groundt and moved to Okmulgee, OK. I have found his mother on ancestry and family search, but not him. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
