Anyone with information on Andrew Jackson Morris date of birh unknown..died approx. 1917 or 1918 of the swine flu? from Green County and Rockingham County married to Lila Conley Shifflet born March 10, 1885 daughter of Maggie Shifflet born August 4, 1861 of the same general area. Lila's second husband's last name was Painter. Andrew Jackson Morris and Lila lived near Elkton, Va. close to McGeyheysville, Va. and had children by the names of Ashby, Rosa Leona, Maude, Claude(twins)& Charles. They lived on the side of the Shenn. Mountain. Lila cleaned house for a doctor my grandfather died. If anyone has any information of the Morris Clan in that area..please e-mail! Rosa Leona was my mother amd we know very little about her father, Andrew Jackson (he was called Jack by his friends) Lila and the children moved to Penna when my mother was about 16.
