I'm searching for the parents of my 3X's gr. grandfather, William B. "Buck" THOMPSON (Tompson), b. bet 1797 and 1805 in Christian County, KY. He married, Mary ADYDELOT or IDELOT in about 1830 in Gallitan Co., IL. His firstborn, Narcissus/Narcissa was born in 1832 in Shawneytown, Gallitan Co., IL. She married Stephen S. Butterfield in 1848 in Dade Co., MO William B. Thompson (Thomson) died about 1881 in either Barton Co., Dade Co. or Jasper Co., MO. I have heard that his father was James M. (Mines, Mims) Thompson (Tompson) and his mother was Nancy (Jackson) Thompson (Tompson). James was born in Mecklenberg, VA. William's middle initial has also been given as "M".
