I am looking for information on my grandmother's family living in Deadwood, So. Dakota at turn of century. They were is meat packing and ranching. My gr. grandmother's name was Matilda Hoffmann Zoeckler married to Henry Zoeckler. My gr. grandfather had bothers who stayed in Deadwood while my gr. grandmother Matilda Zoeckler returned to her hometown of Wheeling, W. Va after gr. grandfather Zoeckler died in Deadwood. I am not even sure if I have his first name right, might be buried in St. ambrose cemetery. He had two brothers, Peter and Will Zoeckler who continued to reside in South Dakota after Henry Zoeckler died at 49 of stroke. Helen Potter hpotter@stratuswave.net | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
