My g-grandmother was supposedly a Seminole (?) Indian who watched her father scalped and was then adoped by Thomas and Rebecca Underhill and renamed Parthenia Texas Underhill. She was born 1n Mar 1854, tho this is uncertain. She was married to Gideon Albritton and lived in Arcadia, DeSoto County, Florida. Any info sincerely appreciated.
