Looking for information on James BANNISTER born about 1824 in Virginia. James moved to Indiana where he married Laurilla MORAN in Dearborn County, IN in 1850. Together, they had the following children: Richard, William, Laura, George, Edward, Julia, Howard, and Lucinda. I suspect that prior to his marriage in Dearborn County, he was in Fugit, Decatur County, IN in 1850 and may have had a brother by the name of Samuel. I also suspect that he relocated, some time after 1880 to Minnesota (where he had children) and shows up on the 1915 state census there. I would love to know where in Virginia he was from, who his parents were and if he did indeed relocate to Minnesota. I would also love to obtain some death inforamtion and documentation for him.
