I am looking for the parents of Edward W. Redford who married Emily Ann Farmer 12 Oct 1844 in Goochland Co., VA. He was born about 1805. In the 1850 census he was living in Goochland Co. and listed his age as 45. Emily was listed as age 20. They had one child, Joseph who was 3. Edward may have been married previously to Eliza Ann Fox. He and Emily had four children that I have found. Joseph N. B. who married Temetra Anne Childress, Mary S., Robert Franklin who married Elisa Rowena Childress and Fannie E., who married Joseph Henry Childress. Emily was the daughter of Temperance Page Farmer Crutchfield. Tempa married Major Jefferson Crutchfield after she married Thomas Farmer. I am also looking for the parents of Thomas Farmer. Temetra, Joseph Henry and Elisa Rowena were the children of Meriwether Hiter Childress and Caroline E. Childress. I would also like to know what happened to Mary.
