Trying to locate relatives of, and information about, John Carroll, Montana pioneer. Born Ireland, came to Montana Territory around 1859 with his more famous pioneer brother Matt Carroll who ran the Diamond R Freighting Co. John married Catherine Ryan, possibly that same year. Daughter, Margaret Carroll, born 1860, who married a man named Bach. May have lived in Bannack, MT, in 1860s. Margaret Carroll Bach was still living in Helena MT in the early 1900s and is buried there. Her grandson William Bache married my father's brother Anna Fredericka Warren.
