In search of birth mother, birth father, siblings or any other possible birth family members of a white baby girl born February 11, 1958 in Stillwater, Ok. The adoptive parents are Earl and Eleanor Fairchild of Ripley, Ok. It was a private adoption handled by a lawyer in Stillwater/Pawnee named Everett Berry. The birth mothers last name at the time of birth was White. She may have been from up around the Maccomb, Ok Pottowatamie county area. I believe We believe she was only in Ripley/Stillwater during the short time she was pregnant and the adoption decree states that she was granted permission by the judge to leave the state as soon as the adoption was finalized for employment seeking purposes. I believe that she may have been an older woman at the time of the birth possibly in her late 30s or early 40s and that she may have been divorced. It's possible she had 2 older children whom she hid the pregnancy from. We believe the daughter would have been somewhere around 13 and was sent to live with relatives during the pregnancy and that the son was around 18 and had just joined the military and was possibly leaving for basic training or for his first assignment a few days after the birth and that the mother left the hospital to go straight to Oklahoma City to see him off. We believe neither of them had any idea about the pregnancy. We do not believe that the birth father was her (ex)husband. We believe that she may have been staying with a relative possibly her mother or an aunt or something whose last name was Phillips. We think the relative Mrs. Phillips she was staying with was a cook in the Ripley Public School cafeteria and that is how they met the adoptive mother because she was a teacher at the same school. I am the adoptee's daughter and my mother has since passed away in 2009. Their may be a family history of lupus or any other type of auto immune disease in the birth family. I am not looking to cause any trouble for the birth family, nor am I looking for money or any other kind of personal gain. I'm simply a daughter who misses her mother terribly and wants more than anything to find someone who is connected to my mother and that I can look at and see my mother in them. I want to learn where my mother came from as well as have some family of my mothers for my children to grow up with since they are having to miss out on having such an amazing grandmother. If you have any information or can help me in any way in finding any birth relative of my mothers I would be more greatful than you could ever imagine. Please email me as soon as possible with any information at all. Even the smallest bit of information would help. I've been searching non stop for the past 3 years and have come up with virtually nothing. The payne county court house does have all of the information on file but because of legal reasons I'm unable to get a judge to open the files and I can't afford an attorney to argue the case for me.
