I am searching for information on a Sarah Butler who married a Joseph Jackson Shepherd. Joseph was from Swain County North Carolina. Sarah was Joseph's second wife. I have been told that Sarah was buried in Baca County, Colorado but have not been successful at finding any information on her. Can anyone help? I don't know if she too was from North Carolina or if he met her in Missouri where he lived and is buried. I would like to know how she ended up in Colorado and not in Missouri. If anyone has information on Joseph Shepherd I would love to have that information as well. Joseph Shepherd was born May 16, 1833 and died in Neosho Missouri Aug. 25, 1908. I don't have any dates for Sarah Butler. Joseph and Sarah had nine children: Thomas, James, Frank, Mary, Martha, Joseph, Ida, Harriett, and Charles. Please help. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
