My name is Gary Hicks. My mother had 7 children, 5 she gave away for adoption. One set of twins born Nov. 22 1960 I have found. Another set of twins (boy and girl), named Randy and Sandy, I have not found. They were probably born in 1961,or 1962, and I believe given up for adoption in 1963. Sandy may have been mentally retarded to some degree. My mom's name in 1963 was Lee Ellen Joyce Clausing and she lived in Winterset with her mom and step-dad, Bill and Margaret(Peggy) Algreen. The first set of twins were given away in Ottumwa, Iowa in July 0f 1961, and were both adaopted by John and Hazel Mcbride of Eldora, Iowa in Sept. 1961. My mom, passed away in May of 2005. I do have pictures of Randy & Sandy at about 1- 1 1/2 years old with me. Also, the first set of twins were named Billy and Judy Clemens until adopted and they became Bruce Becky Mcbride. | |||||||||||||||||||||
