Birth Mother ISO of son born 6/11/67 at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Ft Wayne, IN. I was living at Woodhaven Maternity Home, Carew St., next door to hospital. My son weighed nearly 10 pounds, had a smattering of dark hair, dimpled chin. Named Baby Rupel on birth certificate. Adoption handled by Wells County Indiana welfare dept., Jeanette Simmons caseworker, who I am sure is long deceased. Was told at the time that Wells & Adams Counties usually "traded" babies in an effort to keep birth mothers & their babies apart. Wells Co. has sealed files; was told I would need to travel to IN & petition court to get records unseald. Have been looking for my son 20 plus years. You have a family in Florida would love to get to know you! Just want to know he is OK, something about his life. Thank you.
