I am seeking information on my wife's ggg grandparents: Catherine MOSELY and her husband EARLY (christian name unknown). I am led to believe that Catherine's father owned an estate in Kent. She was disinherited after running off with a gardener - probably her future husband EARLY. It is possible that she was quite close to the royal line. They had at least 2 sons Edward and William and Edward was a cabinet maker. William, whose education was paid for by Catherine's eldest sister (possibly secretly), may also have been a cabinet maker. William married Elizabeth FREEMAN and they had 6 daughters followed by a son (1873 or 74) who only lived 2 days. Elizabeth died the day after giving birth to the son. William may have married again and if so he had 2 more sons. Earliest known date for the above is 21 December 1864 when Sarah Early (3rd daughter of William and Elizabeth) was born. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
