They are from Pico, Azores and lived in Contra Costa County and possibly Alemeda County in early 1900.Manuel owned in vinyard between Antioch and Oakley.John Married Mary F. Delemos, Children Laura, Mary M.,Frances,George Edward, and John. Children born late 1880s.Frances died age 19 in 1899. When John D. Viera dies, his brother Frank married John's widow.
