Looking for information regarding my great grandfather Simon Cohen, known in Russia as Alexander Kahn. He was born in Courtland, the Empire of Russia on Sept 15, 1867. He married Rose Cohen (Fanny), born in 1877. He had a daughter named Beatrice (who was born in Russia in 1887), a daughter named Dorris, born May 13, 1904, a daughter named Shirley or Sarah (my grandmother), born in 1921, and a son named H. Lew Cohen, date of birth unknown. He came to England in 1889 and was naturalized as a British citizen in England on May 14, 1901. He later moved to Brooklyn New York, where his children were born.
