Searching for James and Edward Wilcox who lived in Paducah, Texas around l900. They were in Pike County Census, Arkansas in l880 along with their sister, Phoebe Edmonia Wilcox Johnson and her husband William Jack Johnson. James and Edward were born in Carter County, Tennessee. Their parents were James Washington Wilcox b. l820 and Margaret Patten. Margaret died April, l866. Siblings were Rachel Annette Wilcox b. April 2, l845; m. Carlos Lewis. Susan Lettica Wilcox, b. March 2, l847; m. John McKeon. James Washington Wilcox served in the Civil War. Lost his arm at Chancelorsville. He died l877. James Washington married 3 times. l. Ruth Ann Ruble;2. Margaret Patten; 3. Mary E. Gray. Children by Ruth was Ruth Jane Ruble; and children by Mary E. Gray were Alice Wilcox; Minerva Wilcox; and Washington Wilcox.
