I am searching for family remaining in Erath county. My Thomas side moved here from Mississippi - Edward Thomas who married Mary Caraway, he was born in 1889 in Mississippi - but some children werre born in Comanche/Erath county area.I also believe that Ed Thomas father may have been a minister. ANd that Ed or his father was on the school board in Comyn (close to DeLeon) I think his parents weree Henry Irvin Thomas died in 1948 in DeLeon I believe other families came at the same time - some of my family settled in DeLeon in Commanche County.
