My great grandfather ws Thomas Cahill, who came to America from Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland in the Mid(?) 19th century, and settled in the Chicago area. I am told tht other family names from Thomastown include Ryan; unfortunately, however, very little remains in the way of family members or records.
