Looking for information on William Burnett, his wife Mary Pratt Burnett and their children, of Wilson, Niagara County, NY. William born 1826 had a daughter, Ida, b. 1854. Ida married Abraham Hickman in Rochester, NY in August 1876. This was first marriage. Their son Glenn Hickman is listed as "brother" in the obit of my Great Grandfather, William A. Burnett (1872-1957). William A. Burnett's marriage to Ella Seiler in Rochester list Ida as mother and Alfred Burnett as father. I believe my Great Grandfather to be illegitimate and to hide her shame, Ida gave him her last name. Trying to confirm Ida is living with William and Mary in Willson in 1870 and any info that can be shed on this family. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
